SBK will be closed this Sunday, 2/15, for our monthly volunteer appreciation ride. Regular shop hours will resume on Fat Tuesday, 2/17, at 6pm!

Mardi Gras events will be happening throughout the rest of the month; come get a bike to get you there in style! Laissez les bons temps rouler! ***BYOB (Bring Your Own Beads).

February WTF Shift!

SBK hosts once-a-month WTF shifts to build a knowledge-sharing community with anyone who identifies as transgender, femme, woman, genderqueer, nonbinary, etc. Bicycle shops and bicycle maintenance have traditionally been overwhelmingly dominated by (cis)males. This shift is to hold space for folks who do not fall into that demographic. It is our goal to help teach and offer a friendly and inclusive environment to those who have felt that they have been marginalized or intimidated by traditional biking spaces.
 
Bring your bike to Do-It-Yourself (DIY) repair and adjustments, meet our volunteer staff, ask questions, hang out, shop parts, test ride bikes, and hang with fellow cyclists! Our shop doors will be closed the day of, there will be a sign to use the gate to the left to enter. We look forward to seeing you!

CLOSED Dec 12th-Jan 4th/No Dec Orientation!

SBK will be closed Friday, December 12th through Sunday, January 4th for our annual winter closure. There will be no sales, DIY, or new volunteer orientation available. During this time, volunteers will be spending the holidays with their families and working on cleaning and reorganizing the shop. 

Regular shop hours will resume Tuesday, January 6th, @ 6pm. Happy Holidays!
