August WTF Shift!

August 15 – Saturday: Women’s Trans Femme (WTF) Intro to Biking Workshop (10AM – 11:30AM) @ SBK 
Do you want to get back into bike riding for exercise or commuting as an adult? Are you intimidated by all of the bike parts? Take this class to gain confidence in your bike riding skills and identify basic bicycle problems!

In this class we will teach:

1) Basic bike riding skills
2) How to make sure your bike fits
3) How to ride safely in the city
4) How to lock your bike properly
5) Bike parts identification
6) Most common bike problems and basic bike maintenance

August 15 – Saturday: Women’s Trans Femme (WTF) Public Shift (11:30AM- 1PM) @ SBK 

SBK hosts once-a-month WTF shifts to build a knowledge-sharing community with anyone who identifies as transgender, femme, woman, genderqueer, nonbinary, etc. Bring your bike to Do-It-Yourself (DIY) repair and adjustments, meet our volunteer staff, ask questions, hang out, shop parts, test ride bikes, and hang with fellow cyclists!
